I'm back home from my adventure in London. I had a fabulous experience. The Melissa Frances QVC hour went wonderfully and I was ready to go again as soon as they were done with the taping. It was so much fun. Obviously as this was my first time, there are things that I will do differently next time, but I couldn't have asked for a better result. My flights home were uneventful other than meeting a man at the Chicago airport who was waiting to take the same connector flight as I was who tried to engage me in a discussion on why Vancouverites are so rude, stuck-up and materialistic...yes, that was definitely a highlight. Having your city insulted is always a pleasant way to spend 20 minutes. That same flight was also delayed significantly, so instead of getting home at 9PM like I was supposed to, I got home at 2 in the morning. I was so tired!
I am presently at Melissa Frances's house. I come to head office about 3 times a year for product development meetings, so this week we have been hard at work. It's always a pleasure to work with Melissa and our team at the office. We've got plenty of shabby goodness planned for 2008. I'm so excited about many of the things we've been working up. We'll be taking it easy this weekend. I am tired after my last 2 months of travels and need to do some research on my travels to Italy and Paris next month.
