I designed this project using the Backboard from one of the super cool Melissa Frances Ephemera Kits. I LOVE this product and had so much fun putting this project together.
Today Melissa and I are teaching two classes to our retailers at the CHA Show in Chicago. So excited to give them a sneak peek at our new product offerings before the actual show opens tomorrow. If you happen to be coming to the show, be sure to pop by our booth (#1414) to say 'hi'!.

I am coming off a beautiful weekend here in Vancouver. Rick and I were able to spend time with family, friends and attend a football game at our outdoor stadium on a balmy summer night. Yes, life has been good. I have been enjoying having my honey home with me. He has one more week on holiday before heading back to work.
We had grand plans to head down to Seattle for a ballgame and a dinner at our favorite restaurant while he is on holiday, but due to my work commitments this week, I'm not sure if we will be able to make it down there. I'm crossing my fingers, but we shall see.
In the meantime, I just wanted to tell those of you who are wondering if we at Melissa Frances will be coming out with any new products for CHA, that YES, We're going to have some great new items and collections! I can't wait to show you. We will begin showing them next week ☺
These past few days I have been itching to be on holiday with my sweetie. He is currently on vacation from work, but is using the time to work on some major home improvement projects. In the meantime, I have been dreaming of all the cool things we could be doing if we were going away (grin). So while I dream of tropical beaches, I decided to find a picture from our most recent holiday in April to remind me that I have already had a lovely holiday and I need to have a more thankful spirit. So here is the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Monte Carlo, Monaco (shot with my super-fun fisheye lens). What an incredibly clean country. My goodness! Although I guess that it's easy to keep your country clean if it is under 10 square miles, lol! So, where do you dream of being right now?

Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians, and to my Southern friends, Happy July 4th in a few days. We have been busy around here getting ready for a visit from my sister-in-law and her kiddos. They moved about 8 hours away from us in January and this will be our first visit with them since then. Her poor hubby had to stay home and hold down the fort. Why is it that we often only seem to get into gear to do stuff around the home when we have company over? There have been so many things which we have just put off doing. So glad that we're being given the push to get them done.
