Today, if all has gone well, I am in Norway teaching my 2011 workshops for the first time. I am really looking forward to seeing many familiar faces and I love these new classes. Fun, fun, fun!

True Love

 
Back in January, I had the pleasure to take a wire wrapping class with California with the incredible Amy Hanna. Upon my return home I started to collect beads and supplies for making necklaces and last weekend, I finally put one together. I'm so in love with this necklace! It is very meaningful to me.  I used ice resin and images of my Grandpa and Grandma to make the domed bezel accents. My grandparents were happily married for 52 years before my Grandma passed away, and the heart in the center of the necklace symbolizes their love. 

I hope you've enjoyed this peek at my first necklace.

Inspiration on the Web {No. 15}

 

Happy Monday Friends! Here's a pink bouquet from Provence for you (from our trip there last year), with wishes for Sunny Days this week.

I hope that you each had a great weekend. Rick and I were kept busy with extended family activities, which remind us how thankful we are to have many of our family living close by. (Tammy, we miss you!!)

As I am working hard here on some upcoming projects, I will leave you today with a few of my most recent favorite things:

1) The jewelry of Christine Wallace. I just purchased my first piece from her a few weeks ago, and it is divine. Check out this sweet baby. I wore it yesterday, and couldn't help but check it out every time I passed a mirror, LOL!:
 
2.) This recipe for New York Style Crumb Cake is one of the best cakes that I have made in the past few years! The crumble didn't turn out perfectly for us the first time. But, we will definitely try it again, as the cake itself was a HUGE winner in this household.

 
 
3.) I just discovered Tamara at From the Treetop Photography, and oh my stars! Talk about talent - this girls got it! If only she was local to me - I would book a session in a New York minute! If you haven't visited her blog, and you love good photography, Go. Now. This second. You will LOVE it! Here is one of my favorites from her blog:

Upcoming workshops in Norway

Whew, it's been a little while friends. I've been hard at work getting upcoming classes designed, product ordered, and also doing some teaching. This past weekend, I had the pleasure of teaching at the Spectacular event for one of my local scrapbook stores, Precious Memories. It was my fourth year at the event, and it was so nice to see many familiar faces.

My next event will be at Bikuben scrapbook store outside of Oslo Norway. It will be my fourth visit to the store and I love Ellen, her family and the team at the store - not to mention so many of the customers who come each year to my workshops.
 
So, if you're one of my Norwegian friends, I hope we can connect when I am at Bikuben later this month.
