Today I'm back with another card project featuring the stamps and dies from Ellen Hutson and designed by Julie Ebersol that used in Monday's post. In today's project I also used many of the same techniques shown on the video tutorial that I posted on Monday. You can find the tutorial by CLICKING HERE.
The green watercolor background behind the glittered 'peace' (which was made with using the die from Ellen's Essentials line) was actually the background I made when filming the tutorial.
All the patterned paper on today's card is from the same Basic Grey "Evergreen" paper pad that I used on Monday. It's fun to see how one pad can give 2 completely different card looks. Today's card uses traditional Christmas colors and Monday's card has a more contemporary color scheme, yet all the papers were from the same pad! It is such a beautiful paper collection. And, you have a chance to WIN it - CLICK HERE, and follow the directions in the post for your chance to win.
After I glued the glittered 'peace' die cut to the background, I wanted to add a little bit of definition. So I used Copic markers (W01, W02, W05) to add a shadow to the right side of each letter. It was super easy, and helps the word stand out from the background.
