"Hi there!" Do you ever feel like you're running, running, running, with bearly (see what I did there, ha ha?!) a moment to stop and appreciate your friends? This time of year that's exactly the way I feel. Spring is always a super busy time for my business as I'm in the final push to get everything ready for my upcoming retreats in Italy. Lots of computer time working on graphic design projects and ordering/shipping of supplies, etc. My to-do lists are a mile long - but I wouldn't have it any other way! So, making a card like this that I can pop into the mail helps me feel like I'm not such a bad friend this time of year, lol! What I especially loved about this project was that it was FAST and EASY.
The Good Vibes paper pad by Create Paper had several good options for background designs behind the bear, but I particularly liked the geometrics on the paper I chose. It makes the whole card which, with the adorable bear, could come off as really 'cutesy' (not that there's anything wrong with that!) look more modern/sophisticated.
And, I've had my eye on the Stitched Rectangle STAX set forever, but because it's so basic, I was always lured into purchasing something with more "razzle dazzle". Oh man, now that I have added it to my stash I'm mad at myself that I waited so long to pull the trigger - because for the kind of crafting I love to do, clean & simple, it's a perfect tool that I can see using over and over (and over) again.
Here is the supply list:
Stamps: Hi there bear by Concord & 9th
Die: Hi there bear by Concord & 9th, A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 by My Favorite Things
