A few weeks ago my family celebrated another birthday and I whipped up this card to accompany the gift. Like many crafters, I have so many beautiful stamps in my collection that hardly get used. So, for this card, I decided to go into my stamp cupboard and choose an older design (the Magenta floral) to give it a bit of love. How fun to give it a new spin. I used my favorite watercolor stamping technique with the Distress Markers listed below.
Stamps: Flowers on Stem by Magenta Stamps
Dies: A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 by My Favorite Things
Patterned paper: Striped Kraft 6x6 paper pad by My Favorite Things, Cute girl 6x6 paper pad by Crate paper
Cardstock: Solar White by Neenah, Watercolor paper by Ranger, Candy Hearts by Bazzill
Distress Markers to watercolor with: Worn Lipstick, picked raspberry, mowed lawn, forest moss
Other: sewing machine with white thread, happy birthday tag from American Crafts
