Over the past few weeks I have been the very pleased recipient of two fabulous fabric items from some very talented seamstresses.
The first goodie is an adorable tote bag designed by Lilli at Make Mine Blissful. Lilli is a local Vancouver gal who I discovered through her posts here on the blog. It's amazing what a small world it is! Lilli designs cute bags combining beautiful fabrics, great words in a fabulous font and she has just started taking custom orders too. The bag is really cute and practical. Some would even say that it's 'sweet' (giggle!). Her store has just been restocked, so check it out!
The second item is a fabulous craft apron by Suzy at Georgia Peach. I've long been meaning to sew myself a little apron to wear when I'm teaching classes. After seeing Pam's apron at Silver Bella last November, I really loved how pretty and practicle it would be to have one. Fast forward 8 months, and I still hadn't made one. So I finally bit the bullet and asked Suzy if she would take a custom order for me. I was thrilled she agreed and was so excited to get it in the mail yesterday. It is shabby perfection. LOVE it. Suzy's workmanship is exquisite and the piece is just delightful. If you like it, she has a similar design currently available in her shop.
Tonight Rick and I are going to a football game. It's been a while since I've attended a game with him as our team has had a lot of away games lately and I've missed some with my traveling, so I'm looking forward to a fun date night.
