Welcome to the Holiday 2016 Essentials by Ellen Hutson Stamp release blog hop! My name is Carolyn Peeler and I'm happy that you've popped by for a visit and am excited to showcase several of the new Essentials by Ellen stamp sets and dies on my post today! If you've been following along on the blog hop, you should have arrived here from the blog of May Park.
While you're here, I invite you to connect with me on Instagram and Pinterest. And if, like me, you have wanderlust, then (after this blog hop) head on over to www.ladolcevitaforever.com to check out the week-long creative living retreat I host in Tuscany, Italy - the perfect Christmas gift, if I do say so myself ;) My special guest will be Jo Packham, Founder and Editor of "Where Women Create" and "Where Women Cook" magazines and I invite you to join us! We have two retreats to choose from, May 20-27, 2017 or June 3-10, 2017.
- The brand new Season to Sparkle Stamp and matching die sets.
- Ranger kraft paper, which is the base of the card.
- Versa mark ink, which was used to create the watermark snowflake designs on the card base, and as the ink that I sprinkled the embossing powder onto.
- Ranger Archival ink in Jet Black
- Ranger Superfine Gold Embossing powder.
- Neenah Solar White Cardstock
- On Trend 2 6x6 paper pad, which is the green and white striped paper on the left border.
- Dictionary page - honestly, this is a paper simply torn from an old dictionary that I bought at a thrift store. One dictionary will last you for YEARS - those things are HUGE!
- Sewing machine and white thread.
For my second blog hop challenge, I was asked to use the Stitches Cover Plate Die:
This is a lovely die - especially for those of us who love the look of sewing on our paper crafts projects. My card featuring this die set really let the stitching die create a textured background.
- The brand new Stitches Coverplate die.
- The brand new Bird Shapes Die set.
- The brand new Holiday words Die set.
- Ranger kraft paper, which is the base of the card.
- Dictionary page - this is what I used as the base for the word 'peace'.
- On Trend 2 6x6 paper pad, this was used for the green circle on the left behind the word 'peace'.
- Black and White striped patterned paper. I can't remember which paper pad this is from (I thought I had written it down, but I forgot, and am currently out of the country, so can't double check, sorry!)
- Elizabeth Craft Designs Silver Glitter
- 3D Foam adheisive - to go under the bird.
Thanks so much for joining me as a part of the Ellen Hutson blog hop. I so enjoyed working with the new products and can't wait to see what YOU make with them!
To continue on the hop, I invite you to head on over to the blog of Nichol Spohr.
