Today I have the pleasure to be a part of the Honey Bee blog hop for their Holiday release. If you've been following along on the blog hop, you should have arrived here from the blog of Laura Bassen.
While you're here, I invite you to connect with me on Instagram and Pinterest.
For my contribution to the hop, I used the adorable new "Little Pickup" stamp set as the focal point of the card, and stamped it in the no-line watercolor style. I wanted the truck to look a bit grungy and rusted, yet also be bright and cheery. To do that, I watercolored using the following distress ink colors: Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Pumice Stone and Black Soot. The tree was stamped with Bundled Sage. The greeting is from the "Christmas Scribbles" Essentials by Ellen stamp set (stamped with Vintage Photo ink) and the cardstock and patterned paper were from my stash.
What’s a Honey Hop without some sweet prizes, right? One winner will win a gift certificate to purchase new goodies in the Honey Bee Stamps Store.
Leave a comment on the Honey Bee Stamps blog and again at each stop on the hop by Sunday, November 13th. Winner will be announced on Monday, November 14th at Noon PST on the Honey Bee Stamps blog.
To continue the blog hop, please click over to visit Galina Filippenko who is your next stop!
Thanks so much for visiting. Please let me know if you have any questions.
PS - If, like me, you have wanderlust, then (after this blog hop) head on over to www.ladolcevitaforever.com to check out the week-long creative living retreat I host in Tuscany, Italy - the perfect Christmas gift, if I do say so myself ;) My special guest will be Jo Packham, Founder and Editor of "Where Women Create" and "Where Women Cook" magazines and I invite you to join us! We have two retreats to choose from, May 20-27, 2017 or June 3-10, 2017.
Some of the products used in today's card can be found using these direct links to the Ellen Hutson shop.
