"Our prayer and God's mercy are like two buckets in a well; while the one ascends the other descends." - Mark Hopkins
Sometimes, a simple "I will pray for you", brings the most comfort. Thinking through the toughest times of my life, it was the prayers of family and friends that helped me feel cared for, supported and not so alone. I was drawn to the greeting on the Encouraging Greetings set by Pretty Pink Posh because of that. There are a lot of other great sentiments on it too, but this one in particular had me itching to use it first.
I pared it with the "Better Together" Poppy Fields stamp set by Altenew and Essentials by Ellen. It's such a pretty set - I used it for my Mom's birthday card this year and like so many of Altenew's stamp sets, its layering is beautiful (and really easy to do.)
I picked lavender/purple and green because it is a color scheme that is very fresh and Springlike to me.
Here is the supply list of products that I used to create my card today.
