I have been blessed to know some seriously awesome women in my life who have encouraged and supported me on my journey and today's card is an ode to them. My jumping off point for this project was the Two Takes On A Trend Floral Fantasies inspiration image that was shared on the Ellen Hutson CLASSroom blog.
Inspiration image:
I wanted to use as many of the colors in the inspiration image as possible, which was a bit challenging for me as typically I like to craft with a more muted, and gentle color scheme. My secret was to cover the striped design with vellum in order to soften the ink colors. This muting allowed the project to still feel like me, but also meet my personal challenge to get creative and use a lot of color! (Supply list below)
I was also really inspired to use one of the girls from the So Matcha stamp set as it's one of my current favorite sets as the girls are just so incredibly adorable!
I really happy with how the project turned out and can't wait to mail it to a special friend! Thanks for your visit!
