Hi there! Welcome to the Avery Elle February Release Hop with a few of my crafty friends.
I chose to work with the adorable Beary Good Friends Stamp set. Filled with super cute bears, squirrels, rabbits, and other woodland creatures, it's a sweet set. Once I caught site of the wee bear that I used on today's card I immediately thought of combining it with the Instant photo Frame Die from Ellen Hutson so that the bear seems to be crawling out of the frame.
I stamped him using Memento ink, then coloured him with Copic markers. But the part that I think added a lot to the finished project was to add depth by separating the middle square from the die and, using the life changing blender brushes, gently shade the background so that the square would stand out from the white border frame. It was a simple, but effective way to help the bear pop and giving a little bit of dimension to the card.
