Last spring I added the "Painter's Vase" stamp to my collection and it's become a fast favourite as, since then, I've used it several times to create beautiful watercolour blooms. (Check out a previous project here). With it's large scale, it's a statement making stamp which can be made soft and delicate like my earlier card, or bold and cheerful like today's card simply by changing the ink colours used.
I paired the boldness of the blooms with a soft aqua cardstock which complements, yet doesn't compete with, the brightness of the flowers. Finally, I choose to stamp them on the Jumbo Tag by The Stamp Market, which is a wonderful basic to add to your collection.
One last tip: For today's card I stamped the image off the edge of the tag in order to allow the greeting room to shine without being crowded.
Thanks for popping by today, and I hope that you enjoy the rest of the week!
