Several weeks ago, when I had been cooped up in the house for weeks, I made this card to send to a friend. I have a love affair with watercolour stamping, and the calming process of painting this floral bunch was a welcome balm during a trying time.
In order to make my watercolours, I first coloured with Distress Markers onto a Non-Stick Craft Sheet, then using a wet paintbrush, I mixed the ink on the Craft sheet with a drop of water to create my colours.
The finishing details of the card that I particularly love are the sweet scalloped border, and the stacked die cut greeting, which has the depth and dimension of a chipboard embellishment due to the fact that I layered (glued) 4 die cuts one on top of the other.
Thanks for your visit today!
